Kakapagawa ko lang ng bike ko this month, mga first week ng November 2021. naka budget build lang ako, buong bike, around 35k lang nagastos ko. pinagsama sama ko ang pinaghalong secondhand, brandnew, at reused(from my previous bike) na may mamahalin at mumurahing parts ang build ko. for context, eto yung specs:Cole Brontes XC size 17 29er non-tapered frame w/ integrated headset (second hand)Xspark brakeset(brandnew)Novatec hubs with WTB Nineline 2.0 na gulong + Jalco rims(second hand)Deore 10spd m4100 cogs and RD with 3×10 shifters(brand new)Alivio T4060 cransket and FD(brand new)Crankbrothers doubleshot clipless pedal now here\’s the tricky partBolany air suspension fork 29er with remote lock out – TAPEREDnung binubuo na yung bike sa bikeshop, they said na hindi daw compatible yung fork sa headtube nung frame. there was a noticeable play with the fork and the frame pero ginawan ng paraan – kinayad yung steerer tube nung fork probably para mas magfit sa non-tapered na frame. sa part na to, I\’m not fully sure kung nilagyan ng adapter yung frame, pero sinabihan naman ako ng mekaniko na ang magiging problema ng bike ko is headset, dahil may play nga ng kaonti yung fork sa frame. basically, parang hindi nila ito ma-fit ng ayos. fortunately, I managed to use the bike sa dalawang long rides ko recently being rizal-pilila loop and antipolo-gapan balikan. wala namang naging problema sa bike itself, sa tuhod ko kasi meron hahahaha.and now, mag laguna loop sana kami, but upon baba ng Antipolo, ang wobbly na ng steer ko. paghinto ko to check, ang tigas na ng manibela. patulong naman po, is it really because of compatibility issue ng Bolany air fork or need ko magpasecond opinion sa ibang mekaniko dahil baka hindi lang nalagyan ng tamang adapter yung frame ko?
