Trinx M136 2017 Review


Kapag mayroong nagtatanong sa akin ng murang mtb na pang-beginner, Trinx agad ang isina-suggest ko. Bukod sa subok na din ng mga tropa ko ang Trinx bikes, madami na din kaming nabili na Trinx budget bikes para sa mga kamag anak namin. So far, para sa akin ay pasado naman ang performance at parts nito sa price tag nito sa local market natin.

Ngayon, titignan nating maiigi ang Trinx M136, isa sa mga budget na Trinx mountain bikes. Kung nagiisip ka bumili ng Trinx M136 mtb, sana makatulong ang review na ito.



Malamang nung naghahanap ka ng murang mountain bike, nakita mo din yung Trinx M116 na mas mura ng konti. Para sa akin, mas maganda ng i-stretch mo ng konti ang budget mo sa Trinx M136 dahil sulit yung kaibahan nila sila sa mga pyesa na nakakabit sa mga bikes na ito.

Price ng Trinx M136

Nasa Php6k-6.5k ang presyo ng Trinx M136 sa mga bike shops. Kung makakita ka ng mas mahal na bigay dito, mas mainam sana na maghanap ka ng ibang bike shop na mas mura ang bigay sa mga Trinx bikes. Sa price point na yan, sulit na ang Trinx M136. Pag sumobra kasi yung price nya, meron ka pa na mabibili na mas magandang bike doon kung ganon din naman pala yung budget mo para sa isang MTB.

Diba may mas mura pang bike kesa sa Trinx M136? Bakit hindi nalang iyon?

Kung yung mga standard bike na ordinary lang ang tinutukoy nyo na nasa Php2-3k ang presyo, mahirap kung yun ang gagamitin mo sa ride nyo ng tropa nyo dahil yung mga components non ay medyo alanganin yung tibay. Sigurado pa lalangitngit agad yung crank non at kelangan mo palitan yung bottom bracket agad dahil yun ang madalas una nasisira sa ganong bike. Mapapagastos ka din dahil sa mga palitin na pyesa kaya kung bibili ka, dun ka na sa wala na muna gagastusan pa, i-riride na lang. Alam ko dahil yun din ang una kong biniling bike dati. Rigid pa yung fork (walang shocks) at rim brake pa yung preno na paipit sa rim, mas maganda kasi kung disc brake na.

Kung yung ibang brand naman na mas mura at same lang may shocks yung fork at disc brake na din, hindi ako bilib sa mga pyesa non dahil kung mas mura yun, pwedeng bakal yung batalya (frame) or kung alloy naman, hindi naman Shimano yung mga pyesa. Palitin din agad kung hindi Shimano yung parts, hindi pa maganda performance, most especially sa shifting ng gears.

Trinx M136 2017 Specifications

  • FRAME: 26″*15″/17″ Alloy Special-Shaped Tubes

Alloy yung frame ng Trinx M136, mas magaan at hindi kakalawangin kumpara kung steel yung frame ng murang bike na mabibili mo. Matibay naman dahil meron akong mga ka-grupo na Trinx M136 yung gamit din, malayo na yung mga nararating, idinadaan pa sa mga sobrang lubak na daan, wala pa ni isa na nabalitang nagkasira yung batalya (frame).

Nakalagay sa frame, designed in Italy. May size na 15″ para sa mga medyo hindi katangkaran, at size 17″ naman para sa kahit na sino mga 5’5″ pataas siguro, sasakto na yan. Sinubukan ko i-ride yung M136, komportable syang sakyan at i-drive dahil maganda ang geometry nya.

  • FORK: Trinx Steel Suspension, Travel: 100mm

May front shock ang M136 pero may kabigatan yung fork nito dahil gawa sa steel. Medyo may kamahalan na din kasi kung Suntour yun fork kaya tama lang ung pyesa sa presyo ng buong bike. May lock-out na din naman yung fork ng 2017 version (yung 2016 kasi wala) na magagamit mo kung gusto mo i-lock yung shocks mechanism ng fork, ginagawa ito kung paahon ka. Medyo mas maganda ang fork nito kumpara sa fork nung M116.

COMPONENTS:

  • PEDAL: Trinx Sport – wala pa akong tropang nasiraan ng pidal, mga nagpalit lang dahil nagsawa na sa itsura nung pidal nila.
  • SADDLE: Trinx Sport – kumportable upuan yung stock saddle ng Trinx at yung seatpost naman ay inimprove na din kumpara sa 2016 version ng M136.
  • HANDLEBAR: Trinx Flat – flat ang handlebar, sakto lang yung haba din, kaya madali ang pag maniobra, kumportable, at meron pang bar-end sa dulo na pwedeng kapitan para mag iba ng hand-position.

DRIVETRAIN:

  • SHIFTER: Shimano ST-EF500 – 3×7 ang gears ng M136. Combo shifter ito na magkasama na yung preno at pagpalit ng gearing. Dahil Shimano ito, kahit non-series sya, subok naman na matibay at maayos ang performance.
  • FD: Shimano FD-TZ30 – same lang, Shimano part din, di hirap mag lipat ng gear.
  • RD: Shimano RD-TZ50 – same lang ulit, Shimano part din, di hirap mag lipat ng gear kumpara kasi kung unbranded na China yung pyesa or imitation ng Shimano.
  • CHAIN: Kmc – wala pa akong tropang naputulan ng kadena ng M136. KMC ay sikat na brand din sa mga chains, kahit yung high-end chains.
  • BRAKE: Alloy Mechanical Disc – disc brake na ang preno ng M136, mas malakas ang stopping power kumpara sa paipit na rim brake, kelangan lang nasa tono dahil mechanical ito (hindi hydraulic), dapat nakasentro yung disc sa caliper (dahil isa lang yung piston na gumagalaw, para na din hindi mabengkong yung rotor) at alagaan ng langis once in a while yung cable nya at yung moving part ng caliper (wag lagyan ng langis ang brake pad o rotor! pakiusap) para hindi matigas pisain yung lever.

WHEELS:

  • CASSETTE: Shimano TZ21 14-28T -14 teeth yung pinaka maliit at 28t naman yung pinakamalaki sa sprocket. Sakto pang beginner, hindi masyado mabigat sa high-speed, kaso lang medyo mabigat lang kung sa napakatarik na ahon dadalhin dahil 28t lang yung pinakamababang gear nya sa likod. Thread type ito.
  • RIM: Alloy Double Wall
  • TYRE: CST 26″*1.95″ 27TPI – 1.95 inches yung lapad ng gulong, sakto lang sa balance ng light trails at ride sa kalsada yung thread pattern din ng gulong nito.
  • CHAINWHEEL: 24/34/42T*170L – 170mm yung haba ng crank arm, 42t yung gearing ng pinakamalaking plato.
  • HUB: Sealed Bearing

Trinx M136 2017 Colors

Alam mo na agad kung 2017 ba yung M136 o older models isang tingin pa lang dahil sa kulay nito. Medyo iniba na din ng Trinx ang color design sa 2017 versions, mas flashy.

Ang Trinx M136 2017 ay available sa mga kulay na Matt Black/Grey Red, Matt Black/Green, Black/Blue, White/Black Green, White/Black Blue, Blue/Green. Yung unang kulay na nabanggit sa mga pares ng kulay ang mas dominant na kulay.

Sulit pang beginner na MTB para sa price nya dahil Shimano na yung mga pyesa. Sakto para sa mga gustong sumubok mag MTB at makasama sa rides ng tropa pero ayaw muna gumastos ng malaki para sa bike.
